              Kalangarai has been strengthening the documentation centre with a lot of books and journals pertaining to women and single women. Soon it will become a resource centre for those who would like to do research on widowhood and on widows and other single women.

              It brings out two newsletters of “Mottukkal” in a year as private circulation only for evening study centres. 

Research studies and articles published on the activates of Kalangari as follows;

2. Sch. Baskars. J. (2009). “A Study on the Socio-Economic, Cultural and Political Status of Widows in Nagapattinam District” (In partial fulfillment of his Post-Graduation in Social Work). 
3.  The study of Fr. Irudayarajs.j. on the changes in the lives of the fishing community after tsunami has resulted in a book entitled, ‘சுனாமிக்குப்பிந்தையநாகைமாவட்டமீனவர்வாழ்வு– ஓர் ஊடாட்ட இனவரைவியல் ஆய்வு’in July 2009.
4.  A “Study (Historical Analysis) on the Cultural Oppression suffered by Widows and Deserted Women” is being done by Kalangarai team.
